Brittany Snow Biography

Brittany Snow was born a star on March 9, 1986 in Tampa , Florida .   At such a young age, Snow started to model and modeling led to acting.  Time just flew by for both Snow’s parents, John and Cinda.  With Brittany ’s parents taking her on all auditions, they still wanted her to grow up like a normal kid.  She went to all public schools and was a straight-A student, even though she had missed a lot of classes.  Fortunately, her teachers were extremely supportive and would fax all her homework if necessary. 

While going to school and modeling on the side, Brittany decided to take up dancing.  She had performed in several plays and musicals.  Working on commercials put Snow in the lime-light and at the age of 8 she had appeared in two television episodes for “SeaQuest 2032”.  Later on, Brittany also had a role for the television series “From the Earth to the Moon”.  Snow’s real break came when she had auditioned for the CBS Soap opera “Guiding Light.”  Production was in New York , so Brittany became filming scenes there when she received news that she had landed the role as Susan Lemay, the long-lost daughter of Harley Davidson Cooper Spaulding (Beth Ehlers).  She had played a manipulative little brat who shoplifts, runs away from home and tries to overdose on cough syrup to get attention.  Between commuting back and forth from Tampa , Florida to New York , her mom continued to work, but her dad, John, eventually quit his job from the insurance industry to operate as Brittany ’s fulltime manager.   Hiring an agent really paid of for Brittany and her family. 

Snow was on Guiding Light from 1998-2001 and decided to leave the show to pursue her acting career.  Soon enough in May of 2002, the actress landed the role, as Meg Pryor on the new NBC television Drama, “American Dreams.”  After landing the role, Brittany decided to move to L.A. Snow’s role on "American Dreams" has sparked many television interviews as well as magazine covers and has landed her a debut in her first film, “Pacifier” playing the role as Zoe, a teenager who has to be protected and watched by a Navy Seal (Vin Diesel). Pacifier is a Walt Disney Production film and Brittany had said she had tons of fun working on the set alongside Vin Diesel.  

Just recently, “John Tucker Must Die” hit theaters and Brittany was the star character.  She worked with Sophia Bush, Ashanti , and Jesse Metcalfe.  The movie is about three high school girls who are dating the same guy at the same time and just find out about it.  The girls team up and get even with John Tucker, who is the most popular guy in the school.  Snow has also been seen on the show Ashton Kutcher Production Punk’d on MTV twice.  Once for being the person to be Punk’d on the show and the other time for being a part of Punking her friend and co-star, Sophia Bush.  All you Brittany Snow fans, watch out because you are going to be seeing a lot of this American actress in the future.
