At the age of only three, Brittany Snow’s career as a model took off when she posed in a print advertisement for Burdines. Since then Snow has been seen in about fifthteen national and regional commercials. She was in commercials for Disney, Kmart, Nabisco Thin Crisps, McDonalds and Bush Gardens. Along with modeling, Snow has also been dancing for a number of years. In her local town as well as California and New York, Brittany has been a member of several dance groups. She was in The Pizazz Competitive Dance Group, The LA Dance Force, Broadway Dance and Underground. Being members of dance groups has placed her in theater as well. Brittany was in Pirates of Penzance, The King of South Pacific, the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Annie.
Her first television appearances were in 1993, when she took a role in two television episodes of SeaQuest 2032. Unfortunately, the show was cancelled in 1995. Brittany Snow also landed a role on the television series “From the Earth to the Moon.” Time went by and Brittany’s parents decided to hire Brittany an agent. About a week later, the agent contacted Snow and her parents regarding a possible role as Susan Lemay on the CBS Soap Opera “Guiding Light.” Snow has always received special attention. Brittany receives a ton of fan mail. Snow has always had to juggle two different lives. Her parents wanted her to concentrate on school just as much as concentrating on her acting career.
Hollywood has definitely changed things for Brittany especially when she decided to move to Los Angeles after auditioning and hitting the dream role as Meg Pryor on the NBC television drama “American Dreams.” Soon after, Snow debuted in her first film, “The Pacifier”, which starred Vin Diesel as her nanny and protector. Just recently Brittany starred in the comedy, “John Tucker Must Die.” She had the lead role in the film and worked alongside, Sophia Bush, Jesse Metcalfe and Ashanti. Brittany Snow is currently working on a new project, playing the role as Amber Von Tussle in the 2007 remake of the movie “Hairspray.” There has also been talk of Snow starring in the film “Beyond Legend: Johnny Kakota.”
Snow’s parents, John and Cinda are extremely proud of their daughter and all that she has accomplished at such a young age. Brittany has a great personality and is very down to earth. Snow receives a lot of support from her parents. She knows that she would not be where she is today if it was not for her parent’s extreme sacrifices. With her parents still maintaining their Tampa home and flying back and forth to California, Brittany appreciates everything they have done. Snow realizes that timing is everything and he now knows what it takes to get the roles she has gotten. She is grateful to everyone that has helped her get to the position she is in today. Brittany will continue to work hard to further her career in acting and will pursue a life in stardom.
